Rising Star 11/22/99

Just as an FYI, the next issue of RISING STARS will be out at
newsstands around the 22nd. It's a particularly good one, following
the story of pyrokinetic Lee Jackson after he fled at the beginning.
We also learn a very possible motive for the series of murders. It's a
good one.

The book, I'm told by TC, will definitely be out this Wednesday;
the holiday kind of cut into their schedule.

There are 24 issues slated for the run, planned at 1 per
month...or at Top Cow's production schedule, that should bring us
through 2010....

It takes me a week or three to write a comics script because I'm
still kinda learning the form...after that production seems to take
about a year and a half...

Richard M Perry <76461.2737@compuserve.com> asks:

> Commander III finally hit the shelves? Did you get Batman War on
> Crime?

Yeah, got War on Crime...I mean, c'mon, it's Alex Ross, to NOT
get it would be sacrilege. As always, he does a great job, though I
thought the script was not quite on the same level as the art.
